Minimum requirements 3+ years of total relevant experience (software development, enterprise sales/ architecture, business development etc.) 2+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role (e.g. solutions architect, sales engineer, customer success, professional services delivery) for a fin-tech/payment-tech/global software enterprise Experience as a customer facing roles - presenting and architecting solutions. Domain experience in the payments space is preferred Deep understanding or background in SDLC and understanding of REST APIs. About the team Stripe’s Global Product Strategy & Operations team is a small, high impact team. What you’ll do In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripe’s technical and user-facing teams to solve problems that benefit our users. Specifically: Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes; Partner directly with senior leaders and cross functional teams to accelerate progress, solve hard scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs; Drive analysis and research to help inform our overall strategy and make the right growth decisions for global products, including local payment methods; Help shape the product roadmap for the Stripe’s APAC business through robust gathering of competitive intelligence, user insights, and data analysis; Advise Product, Engineering, GTM & cross-functional leadership teams on where resources should be deployed to maximize long-term strategic value; Partner with Finance to drive planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs; and Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the APAC business, highlighting key metrics and trends and developing action plans to drive improvements. Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams. Demonstrated ability to thrive in influence-without-authority environments and contexts with a high degree of ambiguity. Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users. A “can do” attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. Fluency in Mandarin.
