About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role We are hiring a National Security Partnerships Lead to grow and manage our relationships with the U.S. Intelligence Community and with allied intelligence and security services. You will report to the Head of National Security Policy and advise company leadership on intelligence and allied-partner matters. You will help partner security organizations build policies that let them adopt frontier AI quickly and for high-impact missions, while deploying it safely and avoiding incidents. You will also engage U.S. and foreign government officials on the policy frameworks that guide the international distribution and deployment of Anthropic's models. You will own a portfolio of government partnerships end to end: setting the agenda with senior counterparts, structuring the agreements and channels that govern each relationship, and bringing partner requirements and concerns back into Anthropic's policy, product, research, and safeguards decisions. You will work closely with our public sector sales, legal, security, and threat intelligence teams. Key responsibilities Lead Anthropic's strategic engagement with U.S. Intelligence Community elements and allied intelligence and security services. Help partner security organizations develop the policies and governance that enable rapid, high-impact adoption of frontier AI and safe deployments that avoid incidents. Identify high-leverage national security deployments with partners, and support our public sector sales team in delivering them. Brief senior government security officials in the U.S. and allied capitals on frontier AI capabilities, risks, and Anthropic's approach to safety. Engage U.S. and foreign government officials on the national security implications of the international distribution and deployment of Anthropic's models, and advise company leadership on partner equities in those decisions. Partner with federal affairs, international policy, communications, and marketing on national security matters, including engagement with the Executive Branch and Congress. Travel regularly within the U.S. and to allied countries. Minimum qualifications Substantial experience in national security, including work in or with the Intelligence Community. Direct experience managing relationships with foreign partner governments or services. An active TS/SCI clearance, or one held within the last two years, and the ability to obtain and maintain it. Experience negotiating formal agreements or partnerships between governments, or between government and industry. A working understanding of how intelligence organizations operate, including classification, liaison relationships, and how they adopt new technology, and the ability to get things done within those constraints. The ability to brief senior policymakers and officials clearly, and to explain technical subjects without overstating them. Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, sales, policy, trust and safety, legal, security, product, research, and communications. Demonstrated interest and experience in a complex technical subject, ideally AI, though defense technology, cybersecurity, or similar fields also count. The ability to build structure where little exists and to manage competing priorities without waiting for perfect clarity. Preferred qualifications 10+ years of experience in national security, including substantial work in or with the Intelligence Community. Experience in a liaison, foreign partnership, or foreign disclosure role. Experience in related private-sector roles, such as at technology, cybersecurity, or defense companies. Regional expertise or language skills relevant to allied partners. Hands-on familiarity with large language models and how they can be misused. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $295,000 — $345,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the Role: AI Gateway gives developers one place to connect applications and agents to hundreds of models with one API key. It handles provider routing and fallbacks, unifies billing and observability, and lets teams manage spend and security controls across production AI workloads. Designing this well is a systems problem. A developer should be able to choose the right model, make and verify a first request, diagnose a failed request, and configure routing, budgets, credentials, and security controls without losing sight of the application they are trying to build. The right interface might be in the dashboard, on the public model catalog, in the CLI, in an API response, or in code. You will be the Design Engineer for AI Gateway, owning product design and frontend implementation across those surfaces. You will work with customers, a Product Manager, and engineers to understand the problem, explore solutions, build the production experience, ship it, and learn from what happens after launch. AI Gateway is live, the model ecosystem changes every week, and the team can move from an observed problem to production quickly. This is a rare chance to use your product judgment, design craft, and code to shape a developer product and ship the experience yourself. You will be the design owner embedded with a Product Manager and a dedicated engineering team. You will also have the Product Design team around you for critique, collaboration, and support. AI Gateway will be your main product area, with room to pursue design-led improvements across Vercel. You will report to the Design Team. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What You Will Do: Own product design and frontend implementation for meaningful parts of the journey from discovering a model to making a first successful request and operating AI in production. Design and build production experiences across the website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs, choosing the right medium for each problem. Make models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, logs, performance, privacy, and governance understandable, then create patterns that extend across new providers, modalities, and workloads. Talk directly with customers and use product data to understand problems, define success, make tradeoffs, and improve what ships. Own quality after launch, including visual and interaction craft, accessibility, performance, resilience, instrumentation, and edge cases. Use coding agents to explore and implement ideas quickly, while testing, debugging, and taking responsibility for what ships. About You: Your work shows what you personally identified, designed, built, shipped, and learned after launch. You build production-quality web applications with React and TypeScript and can contribute confidently in a large, existing codebase. You bring strong visual and interaction craft and have made technical or data-rich products understandable without removing the control advanced users need. You can move between graphical interfaces, CLI workflows, API behavior, and implementation details, treating accessibility, performance, failure recovery, and instrumentation as part of the design. You use customer research and product data to make decisions, communicate your reasoning clearly, challenge ideas constructively, and change direction when the evidence changes. You use coding agents in your daily work, but you can explain, test, debug, and take responsibility for the code they help produce. There is no required path into this role. You may come from product design, frontend engineering, creative development, or a career that does not fit a standard title. We care about the quality of what you have shipped and the judgment behind it. Bonus If You: Have experience with developer tools, infrastructure products, model marketplaces, or observability experiences. Have worked with AI models, providers, inference platforms, guardrails, or AI application tooling. Have experience with APIs, command-line tools, structured product content, or agent-facing interfaces. Have built an application or agent with Vercel’s AI SDK or AI Gateway. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role: Vercel is growing fast, and so is the demand on our IT team. We're looking for an IT Operations Engineer to be the backbone of day-to-day technical support for our New York City office, someone who takes real ownership of the employee experience and keeps our team running at full speed. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for in-office IT support: resolving hardware and software issues and partnering with teams across the company to make sure everyone has what they need to do their best work. You'll manage the tools and systems Vercel's employees rely on every day, from endpoint management and AV to onboarding workflows and access controls. AI fluency is a core expectation at Vercel, not a bonus. We expect you to actively use AI tools to work faster, automate repetitive tasks, and solve problems more effectively. Whether that's writing scripts, drafting documentation, triaging requests, or researching solutions, we want someone who reaches for AI as a natural part of how they work. Beyond the helpdesk, you'll have genuine opportunities to contribute to larger IT projects and initiatives. This is a team that operates with a high bar and moves quickly, and we're looking for someone who matches that energy: proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about building great IT experiences at scale. This is an in-person role based in New York City. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite to effectively collaborate with our team and support our office's IT needs. What You Will Do: Serve as the first point of contact for in-office and remote staff on all IT-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal downtime and a great employee experience. Actively use AI tools to triage requests, draft documentation, write scripts, and find solutions faster. We expect AI to be a regular part of how you work, not an occasional experiment. Utilize IT ticketing systems to manage and prioritize help-desk requests, keeping response times tight and communication clear. Help with the creation, management, and support of user accounts and access controls, ensuring employees have the resources and permissions they need to do their jobs. Support in-office AV and conference room technology, including event support for team gatherings and all-hands meetings. Collaborate with other IT team members on projects ranging from new technology rollouts to process improvements. Partner with our Onboarding team to procure equipment, set up accounts, and deliver a smooth experience for new hires. Develop and maintain clear documentation for IT systems, processes, and common issues. Work cross-functionally with teams like Workplace Services and People to support company-wide initiatives and keep the office running well. About You: Experienced IT Professional: You have at least 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field, with a solid foundation in troubleshooting hardware, software, AV, and network issues. Experience in a startup or tech environment is a plus. AI-Native Worker: You actively use AI tools as a core part of how you work, not just occasionally. You reach for them to move faster, automate repetitive tasks, write scripts, draft docs, and solve problems more effectively. Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: You have a strong understanding of macOS environments, networking, and security, and you're known for diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and thoroughly. Effective Communicator: You can explain complex technical issues in plain language and work collaboratively across teams and departments with ease. Proactive and Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments, take initiative without being asked, and can juggle multiple tasks or priorities without dropping the ball. Service-Oriented: You're approachable, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping people. You treat every support interaction as an opportunity to leave someone better off than you found them. Detail-Oriented: You manage your work and documentation carefully, keep IT assets organized, and don't let things fall through the cracks. Security Conscious: You understand the importance of cybersecurity and are proactive about implementing measures to protect company data and systems. Continuous Learner: You stay current on IT trends and best practices and are motivated to grow your skills alongside the team and the company. Compensation & Benefits: Great compensation package and stock options. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off - Flexible vacation policy with a recommended 4-weeks per year, and paid holidays. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a stipend to refresh your tech gear as needed. The base pay range for this role is $116,000-$174,000. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills and experience. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. About the Role: As an Engineering Intern at Vercel, you will be an important part of our engineering team, working on real projects that will impact our products and customers. You will be mentored by experienced engineers and will be given opportunities to grow and learn. What You Will Do: Work will vary by team - but your general scope will include, but not be limited to: Own an end-to-end project: scope it with your manager, build it, ship it, and see it in customers' hands. Write and review production code alongside the engineers who maintain it. Debug real systems under real conditions - trace an issue through the stack and fix the root cause. Communicate your progress clearly, including when you're blocked. About You: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, graduating December 2027 or May 2028. Strong knowledge and capability with JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Experience with Go or Rust is a bonus. You dig into problems rather than around them - you want to know why something broke. You move work forward on your own. You surface blockers early instead of waiting to be asked. You communicate well in writing. Much of how we work is asynchronous and written down. Fluent with AI tooling and clear-eyed about it. You use it to move faster, and you can still explain, defend, and debug everything you ship. Based in San Francisco, willing and able to commute Mon/Tues/Fri. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role We're looking for an Engineer to lead the design and development of Vercel's Finance Data Platform, the foundational system that powers revenue reporting, consumption-based billing, financial forecasting, and compliance across the business. This is a unique opportunity to architect the data infrastructure that Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations depend on to close the books accurately, forecast revenue with confidence, and scale with the business. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Data Engineering, you'll define the technical vision for Vercel's financial data ecosystem, partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Revenue leadership to translate business and compliance requirements into scalable systems, and build reliable, auditable pipelines using modern technologies like Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake. You'll lead from the front, writing production-grade code, setting the bar for data accuracy and governance in a domain where correctness isn't optional, and mentoring a team of engineers as the function grows. If you're excited by the challenge of building financial-grade data systems that the business trusts for reporting, forecasting, and audit, we'd love to hear from you. What You Will Do Design and implement a data platform that supports revenue recognition, consumption-based billing, and financial reporting across batch and real-time workloads, leveraging Kafka and streaming technologies to power real-time usage and billing pipelines feeding revenue and consumption forecasts. Work directly with FP&A, Accounting, and RevOps to understand reporting requirements, close-cycle timelines, and forecasting needs, translating them into technical architecture and ensuring data availability and accuracy align with financial reporting deadlines, audit cycles, and board-level reporting needs. Define and maintain guidelines for financial data ingestion, transformation, and storage, with a focus on auditability, lineage, and data integrity, while overseeing data modeling, ETL, and warehousing (ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake) to support low-latency analytics and reliable historical reporting. Develop end-to-end solutions across the finance data stack, setting the example for engineering excellence in a high-accountability domain, and mentor engineers on both technical craft and the added rigor required when data feeds directly into financial statements. Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure financial data pipelines meet SOX, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements, and champion high availability, fault tolerance, and auditability through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Drive architectural decisions and roadmap planning that balance efficiency, scalability, and the strict correctness requirements of financial systems, and evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs across financial and billing tooling (e.g., ERP, billing, and revenue platforms). Build the data infrastructure that translates raw usage into revenue, supporting the forecasting models Finance and GTM rely on for target-setting and reporting, and collaborate with data science and FP&A teams on forecasting, incrementality analysis, and revenue modeling at scale. Act as a key decision-maker for evaluating and selecting data architectures and technologies critical to Vercel's financial operations, and establish a multi-phase roadmap for finance data platform maturity aligned with company growth and audit readiness. About You 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related field, with a track record of owning production data pipelines end-to-end. Proven track record designing and operating large-scale data infrastructures in a complex, fast-paced environment, with experience across Kafka and its ecosystem (e.g., Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform), ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, and broader big data frameworks. Prior experience building data pipelines that feed financial reporting, revenue recognition, billing, or consumption-based pricing models, with familiarity with financial/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) or billing platforms considered a strong plus. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated big data services. Strong background in data governance, security, and compliance, including direct experience supporting audit, SOX, or SOC 2 requirements, and a rigorous approach to data lineage and accuracy. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate financial and accounting requirements into technical architecture and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Finance and Audit leadership. A leadership mindset, with demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive consensus, and advocate for best practices in high-accountability data environments. Industry recognition or notable contributions in data engineering (e.g., published works, open-source contributions) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $190,000 - $258,000.
